One of the great privileges we have as Christians is the privilege of having fellowship with the Holy Spirit. It is truly a remarkable blessing. No wonder Jesus had to sternly charge his disciples to not start witnessing of his resurrection until they are filled with the Spirit of God. He knew what the Holy Spirit would do to them!
As the Bible shows, it is one thing to have the Spirit, it is another thing to fellowship or walk with the Spirit. The Spirit dwells in every Christian, but unfortunately, not many people know how to fellowship and take advantage of the Spirit within them.
To walk with the Spirit means to actively engage the Spirit in every affair of life through prayer. Recognize that His presence is always with you, talk with him as you would any close master, ask for his help and trust him to lead your way. Soon enough you will learn his voice and your life will be easier to live than ever before!
