Nothing Can Change Your Destiny

By Dr Noel Maturlu

When God writes your story, not even hell can edit the script.

Michelle Hui’s world shattered one ordinary morning on her way to work. At just six weeks pregnant, the 31-year-old bank worker from County Kildare, Ireland, began to bleed heavily—an ominous sign no expectant mother wants to face. After five separate examinations by two doctors, Michelle was given the heart-breaking news: she had miscarried.

In an effort to prevent infection, she was prescribed abortion pills to expel what remained. It was, by every medical standard, the end.

But heaven had not signed off.

After undergoing a medical abortion and further treatment for blood clots, Michelle returned to the hospital for a follow-up scan. What the doctors saw next silenced the room and lit up the heavens—a flicker, a pulse, a heartbeat.

One of her twins had survived. Despite the miscarriage. Despite the abortion pills. Despite every logical, biological, and medical impossibility—this tiny life held on.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Michelle said. “After everything, I didn’t dare hope. But the senior doctor scanned again and said, ‘You’re not going to believe this—we’ve got a heartbeat.’ It was the best feeling ever.”

That heartbeat grew stronger. That miracle baby—Megan—was born healthy, vibrant, and full of life. Today she thrives at home, nestled in love between her siblings, Mya and Noah. Her story has stunned medical experts and been documented in scientific journals, baffling logic and leaving only one conclusion: divine purpose overrides human prediction.

Let that sink in.

If God has destined something for your life, not even death can deny it.

You may not have entered this world under ideal circumstances. Maybe no one threw a party when you were born. Maybe you’ve felt like an accident, a mistake, a burden. But hear this: You were no accident. God doesn’t make mistakes—He makes masterpieces.

“I’m completely convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love—not death or life, not angels or demons, not our fears for today or our worries about tomorrow. Not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. There’s no force in heaven or hell—in fact, nothing in all creation will ever be able to disconnect us from the love of God that is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

Your life is not the result of human planning but divine intention. Whether or not your parents celebrated you, God anticipated you. He ordained you. He embedded your purpose in the fabric of time long before your heartbeat began. And no diagnosis, disaster, or disappointment is powerful enough to cancel what God has called forth.

Not miscarriage.

Not betrayal.

Not addiction.

Not abortion.

Not even death.

So don’t be afraid of the darkness surrounding you. If Megan’s little heartbeat could survive the valley of death, then surely your purpose can survive the trials you’re facing. You are not too late, too broken, too flawed, or too forgotten. God’s script for your life is unfolding—and nothing can abort your destiny.

One day, when your purpose is complete, you will be recalled—not by chance, but by design—to the One who sent you. Until then, live boldly. Trust deeply. And rest in this truth: God’s will for your life cannot be overruled.

May the love of God and His peace, which surpasses all human understanding, fill your heart now and always.
