Malawi Assemblies of God holds a National 2026 Conference

Malawi Assemblies of God across all regions of Malawi have reconvened for the 2026 OMC and PAWILA BIENNIAL conference today in Lilongwe
Speaking at the opening ceremony ,OMC women’s national director Queen Nkhata and PAWILA national director Reverend Mayamiko Chiwaya,describe the conference as more important,citing that it will help women’s to grow spiritually as they have time to share ideas.
In an interview, Nkhata said this year’s conference will serve as an indicator to grant unity for all women.
She disclosed that the management of the Malawi Assemblies of God decided to hold both the OMC and PAWILA conferences together as a way to save resources and to show unity of purpose.
She added that it is their plan to hold such joint conferences in the future for unity of purpose.
Rev. Chiwaya, who is currently serving at the Area 24 Assemblies of God in Lilongwe, echoed Nkhata’s sentiments.
She described this year’s conference as the best ever because it brings together both pastors’ wives and all women to share ideas.
Over 1,500 women are attending the 5-day conference running from July 29 to August 2, 2026.
This year’s Biennial OMC and PAWILA conference is being held under the theme “Empowered Christ Ambassadors in His Character.”
