Inspirational Quotes for the WEEKEND

By Dr Charles Leyman Kachitsa

Where does one draw a line? And where does the world draw a line? Very debatable questions which depend on what you want tackled or in preventing something that needs not cross the line.

Lines drawn can be imaginary, yet they can also be visible. For normal conduct of people, lines can be invisible except in instances one is pushed to the extreme where they have to shout mentioning that it appears the line has been breached. In the majority of situations line patterns follow a silent language policy.

Lines can be drawn up in the sky, yet they can also be drawn on the ground. It depends on ones ambitions where they want the lines drawn. Another consideration would be on the thickness of the lines. Some lines are loosely drawn with gaps, others are very thick as a deterrent to ward off the usual culprits who may want to use all the tricks on earth to breach such lines. One thing remains certain, lines have to be drawn for ones survival.

TOWARDS A NEW WORLD VIEW by Various Authors Edited by Russell E DiCarlo

For example, never before in human history has so much of the great wisdom teaching of all ages and all cultures been so available throughout the world. It really is a global village. ………..\” (George Leonard).

\”I would say that most people are just like children. They are aware of themselves, and gradually they become aware of the fact that they have bodies. Humans are the same way, even when they are grown up. They are not aware of their connections. That\’s what I think people are moving towards.\” (Elmer Green).

\”I think that the reason empowerment has become so popular is because it addresses one of the most fundamental challenges of our times: the willingness for an individual, an organization, a community, a country, ultimately the entire human species, to take responsibility for what it has created and not blame anyone. To forgo the temptation of seeing oneself as the victim of something external and recognize that we are accountable for our experience. We have to be very clear that this is not what we want. Then we have to be clear what we do want and to be willing to go for it. To put ourselves on the line – with passion, with conviction, with gusto and with boldness of imagination.\” (David Gershon).

\”The most courageous and far-sighted of business executives have began to ask some heady questions: What is our mission and purpose? What is the basis for our decision-making? What role if any does spirituality play in business? What is the level of our responsibility to the local community, nation and environment? What is true leadership and how is it cultivated? What assumptions do we hold about our employees and about human nature and human potential? What is the most effective way to structure and organize a business?\”
