Grace to Reign

Man was created for dominion; it is ingrained into our natural system. However, when man fell into sin, he lost his ability to reign in life. As a result, instead of dominating, man is dominated by sin, fleshly desires, and worldly desires. Thankfully, there is a way we can regain the throne.

Romans 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

There you have it, the way to reign is by receiving abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. The gift of righteousness comes by believing the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. The abundance of grace comes through submission to God.

The more we humble ourselves to the Lordship of Christ in our lives, the more ascendancy we experience such that we are able to experience dominion in the affairs of life.
