Malawian artist Fada Moti has released his new single Jump, clearing up confusion caused by his earlier promotion.
Before the release, fans thought the song would be about playing cards after he shared artwork featuring cards and captioned it “Jump Noko khazi” — a term linked to finishing a card game. However, when the song dropped on Friday morning, it turned out to be a feel-good track about dancing and having a good time.

The Amapiano artist also shows his versatility, switching to dancehall in the second verse — a nod to his musical roots. Fada Moti produced the beat himself.
The music video, directed by Andrew Chilonga of Redox Lab Films, has been widely praised, with fans describing it as cinematic and more like a movie than a typical video.

Meanwhile, the release sparked online comparisons with Joe Ikon, who recently dropped Game Over as a bonus track on his latest EP. Some fans speculated about similarities, but Jump has since proven to have a completely different concept.
Despite the early confusion, the song is gaining positive reactions and attention across social media.
