There is miraculous power in doing God’s word. The word of God is not a suggestion. It is a force that can change things on the earth. Peter experienced this when he acted on the instructions of Jesus even when it did not make sense to him.
Luke 5:5-6 Peter answered, ‘Lord we have toiled the whole net without catching anything. But at your word, I will lay down the nets’. And when they had done this, they enclosed a large number of fish that their nets began to break.
The word of God will not always make sense to our minds. It may contradict our experiences, our observations, and our feelings. But the key is acting on and doing the word despite all of this.
This is when we experience the power of God in our lives. The miraculous harvest that Peter and his friends experienced on this day was a result of doing God’s word.
Decide today to make God’s word a priority when it comes to your actions, and you will see God’s power manifesting in your life always.
