Silver Strikers thrashed Karonga United 2-0 at Silver Stadium in the first leg of the 2026 Airtel Top 8 quarter-final.
Charles Chipala scored a brace in the 11th and 34th minutes to give the Central Bankers a commanding advantage heading into the second leg against Karonga United.
In another fixture, goals from Blessings Mwalilino in the 47th minute and Lameck Mithi in the 49th minute handed Mighty Mukuru Wanderers a crucial first-leg victory over Creck Sporting at Mpira Stadium.
The results conclude the first-leg matches of the 2026 Airtel Top 8 quarter-finals. On Saturday, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets drew 1-1 with Ekhaya FC, while Blue Eagles and Civil Service United played out a goalless draw.
The return fixtures are scheduled for July 11 and 12, 2026.
