Ansah gave the assurance on Wednesday afternoon when she met the association’s executive members upon request to appreciate their concerns.
The Vice President said the Association had formally written to her office requesting an audience, and that she had found it prudent to engage them through an interface meeting to better understand their challenges and proposed solutions.
Speaking in an interview with Malawi News Agency (MANA) on the sidelines of the meeting, the association’s Treasurer General,
Catherine Dickson Makwasa, said the engagement aimed to raise critical concerns affecting their operations, including persistent foreign exchange shortages and the influx of foreign investors into the retail trade sector.
