One of the great lessons I have learnt over the years is that worship is a journey. It is the same lesson that Moses received from God when he was given instructions about temple worship. And the Bible shows us that the priesthood ministry that Moses received was just a shadow, the reality, how ever is in Christ, which is spiritual worship
Hebrews 8:5 They (old testament priests) serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. Therefore, Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.
So, Moses received a physical pattern of worship. In Christ also, there is a spiritual pattern. The pattern of worship is a journey that takes us right into the holy of holies where we meet and fellowship with God. The pattern has been made clear and open for all of us through the blood of Jesus.
Therefore let us come boldly into the throne of grace, fellowship with God through worship, and find grace to help us in our time of need.
