The Evidence of Faith

Faith can be difficult to define sometimes, but it is not. All we need to know is the sign that we have faith or not, and the sign is in the evidence:

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is the evidence, or the proof, that what you are hoping for is bound to happen. Where is this evidence? It is found inside your heart. It is not found or seen physically. You can not point it out. That is where many miss it. They are looking for physical evidence that God has heard them. The evidence is inside of you.

This evidence is a deep feeling of conviction, peace, and assurance. That is what you should be looking for and you should secure it when you find it.

The best way to build up this evidence inside of you is meditation. Visualise your desire as if you have already gotten it. Feel it as real. The more you do it, the more you build this evidence, and that is faith!
