The Attitude of gratitude

The attitude of life that we hold can either make or break us, but many of us don’t know this. What made Jesus so effective in his life and ministry was the attitude that he held. In the face of scarcity, Jesus never panicked, but maintained an attitude of gratitude:

John 6:11 Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.

You see, in life many things are beyond our control, but how we respond to them matters the most. We could be faced with scarcity as Jesus did.

But what is your response? Many Christians respond with fear, worry, anxiety, and grumbling. Jesus never grumbled like the Israelites did while walking in the desert. He lifted it, gave thanks to God, and shared it. Miraculously, the food multiplied!

What are you going through today? Make it your lifestyle to live in joy and thanksgiving always. In every situation there is a reason to say, ‘Lord, thank you’. Always, remember that!
