Chimwankhunda Living Waters Church International Men\’s Ministry is set to hold a seminar this Saturday in Blantyre to discuss stress management.
Bishop Botha Mateyu, told Malawi News Agency (Mana) on Wednesday that the church aims to bring people together to learn ways and means of managing stress.
“People go through a lot every day but often don\’t know how to handle stress so we thought of hosting this event. The event is open to everyone as we feel it is important for us to understand how to manage difficulties we encounter,” he said.
Bishop Mateyu said that people should attend the seminar because it will also tackle stress drivers such as issues to do with marriage and business.
“We have guest speakers who have experienced significant challenges and have overcome them with faith, understanding that God is not done with them. This will be a powerful session to learn about marriage, business, and more,” he said.
Bishop Mateyu said the seminar promises to provide valuable insights and practical advice on handling stress, making it a must-attend for those seeking better ways to manage life\’s challenges.
A member of Manase Living Waters Church, Chikondi Lita said she was looking forward to attend the seminar.
“After seeing the poster and recognising the great speakers on stress management, I am encouraged to attend. As a youth, I face issues that sometimes tempt me to make poor decisions and it will be important for me to learn life management skills from these experienced speakers,” he said.
