One of the organisers of the Lilongwe Motor Show, Jason Joel Maluwa, says the show which will be held at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe this Saturday is a celebration of Malawi’s growing automotive culture.

Maluwa, who is also owner and founder of Dope Whips Malawi, said the event which is now in its sixth edition, promises to be bigger and more dynamic bringing together car lovers, industry professionals, tech innovators, and families for a full-day automobile celebration.
“The show is aimed at promoting car culture and connecting people, families and businesses and a bit of fashion,” he said.
According to Maluwa, they are working with MZINDA Fashion Lifestyle to bring in the crisp and blend the two worlds together.
Fast Lane Investments, well known for its signature vehicles the Golf 7, Golf 6 and Scirocco R, is one of the teams participating in the show.

Chief Executive Officer for Fast Lane Investments, James Manduwa, said the event will bring a surprising and thrilling experience for car enthusiasts, participants, and business entities.
“It is going to be a surprise to everyone because people have customized their cars in different ways,” said Manduwa.
The exhibition will feature a range of customized cars and motorbikes.
Attendees should also look forward to live DJ performances, bike stunts, vehicle showcases, and classic vintage displays.
