By Dr Charles Leyman Kachitsa

There has always been an understanding that peace is very expensive. Peace being interpreted as harmony inside and outside oneself, a person. The sum of this is translated into a peaceful family, a peaceful nation at the national level and a peaceful world if this state is construed as existing globally without amiss. It is expensive as historically people have sacrificed their life to gain peace.

At the personal level, one need the peace to function productively to be more balanced as a person. Even though there are times when life throws at a person unpleasant things which may seem to take away the peace so prevailing. At such times, training of the soul one has throughout his life comes in to smoothen things and make them feel so peaceful inside regardless. Such people with a steadfast mind so trained for all occasions including during storms are rare and do stand out in society. Peace is always visible. In normal circumstance deep sited peace of mind is visible on ones face.

“Are you yourself, ever tempted to blame the world for your failures? If so pause and reconsider. Does the problem lie with the world, or with you? Dare to learn the 17 success principles!  Dare to memorise self-motivators! Dare to apply them with the full assurance that they will work for you just as effectively as they are working every day for hundreds of others.”

“You are what you think. But what do you think? How orderly are your thought processes? How straight is your thinking? —– And how clean are your thoughts? —— There are certain mental cobwebs that clatter up the thinking of almost everyone, even the most brilliant minds. Negative feelings, emotions, passions – habits, beliefs and prejudices. Our thoughts become entangled in these webs.”

“Ignorance is the result of inertia. That which seems logical to the person who is ignorant of the facts or know-how may be illogical to the man who does know. When you make decisions because you refuse to keep an open mind and learn the truth – that is ignorance. …………”
