Inspirational Quotes for the WEEKEND

By Dr Charles Leyman Kachitsa

The guilty are afraid, is not an understatement. If one perceives that they have not done the right thing in a situation but they have kept their wrongdoing a secret, they might exhibit nervousness fearing being discovered. Mistakes are common occurrences and in some cases unavoidable but here it refers to instances where someone does a wrong thing knowingly.

Human nature dictates that we have a subconscious other within self that every minute pushes you forward cheering where things are right and sending you a warning shot where you are on the brink of doing something wrong knowingly. It is said that if you have to look at innocence then you need to look at small babies for they have no blemish behaviour.

In advocating good behaviour, we do not need to look further beyond than near to us in looking at the innocence of small babies. It is in smaller babies that we find respectfulness of the creator as they stand erect to acknowledge His ever growing Kingdom. The purity of babies is unmatched until they become polluted by the harsh realities and hypocritical postures of the adults around them.

\”No one with both feet planted firmly in contemporary life is likely to debate the assertion that we live in an age of considerable and constant change.\”

\”Those who please me or help me avoid pain are my friends; those who pain me or keep me from pleasure are my enemies. Rationality requires that friends and enemies be used in ways that maximize my pleasure and minimize my pain.\”

\”At core, a world view seeks to provide answers to two most important questions: \’What is the nature of the Universe in which we live?\’ and \’Who am I?\’ How we respond ultimately directs all that we do and how we do it. It establishes the overall rhythm, music and melody of our lives.\”
