Inspirational Quotes for the WEEKEND

By Dr Charles Leyman Kachitsa

Human beings by their nature like the familiar; familiar faces, familiar surroundings, familiar food and familiar everything. However, nature is dynamic just as the earth is always on the move around the sun, so is the case with all things in this world. It includes such things as stones, on a bigger scale mountains also move. With mountains the movements are normally minute, rarely there will be a bigger movement but that always has catastrophic consequences downhill in form of avalanches or mudslides.

Some of the things on earth that visibly move are coastlines, where the water edges are now is not where they were last year. Some rivers completely change their course to go on land where before nobody imagined will be their new path. In all we stand amazed and in awe at the creation that is nature and how orderly it is as one thing has implications on others of its king and relationship.

If we seek a better world, we need to change how we do our things. Doing same things and expecting a different result is a futile dream. To change the result we need to change the input or process. Same habits as yesterday will always bring same results as yesterday. Recently there has been hypes throughout the world of revolutions that are conducting using old methods and the result is the same as people have become disillusioned with state of affairs that do not bring any hope in humanity. Perhaps we need a big deviation to old habits, that is the only way of an assured new world!

\"\"The quotes today are a continuation of the extractions from a book that advocates looking at the world with new lenses. It seeks a new awakening. I am sure the selected few quotations below from this book will enlighten you to one or two life lessons, read and enjoy:

TOWARDS A NEW WORLD VIEW by Various Authors Edited by Russell E DiCarlo

\”Driven by advancements in science and technology, Western medicine has produced miraculous results. Human suffering has been reduced, the average lifespan has increased significantly and once dreaded diseases such as polio and rheumatic fever have been virtually eliminated within the span of a generation. —— Yet, in the process of achieving this remarkable success, Western medicine has reduced the human being to little more than a bag of bones, muscles, and chemicals — a biological \’machine.\’ If a part is defective, then one simply needs to replace the part. In such a world view, there is little room for soul since physical illness is attributed to strictly physical causes. Mind, emotions, and soul are rendered irrelevant concepts. As a reflective physician commented, \’I was a body mechanic, trained to look at the sea and the land as completely separate. Suddenly, I realized that the water, land, and air were all relaxed – something medical school had never addressed.\”

\”So my advice to people is, \’Keep your attention in present time only.\’ Try never to project into tomorrow or back into the past. It costs too much. No one can afford to live in thirty time zones simultaneously, Nobody. If people could stay in present time for two days, their whole life would change, because the consequence of having that much energy would activate synchronicities – coincidences in their lives of being in the right place at the right time and that would change everything.\” (Carloline Myss).

\”But in my view, the ultimate goal is to expand your conscious awareness to include everything so that you experience divinity directly. You expand from the centre of your being to the far reaches of All- That- There- Is, manifest and unmanifest, so that the universe becomes absorbed within you.\” (Barbara Brennan).

\”Perhaps our greatest creative potential lies in the power of our conscious intentions to sculpt our very lives. David Gershon and Gail Straub teach people how to enhance their ability to visualize, hold intent and surrender to the creative process. By doing so they tell us, we can become a co-creative force with nature and influence our life experience. Influence, they stress, not control. —- While it\’s hardly news that we have undeveloped resources, that there is a power within, the focused, multidisciplinary and scientific investigation of the farthest reaches of our human potential is without precedent. The insights derived from this exploration are sure to radically change the world in which we live.\”
