Gospel musician Brenda Onsewa has announced that she will continue ministering through music to ensure that the message of God reaches everyone in Malawi.
She made the remarks on Sunday, 9th August 2026, during a Gospel Fest and Album Launch held at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
Onsewa announced plans to host similar events in all major cities and other districts as part of efforts to spread the gospel and reach more communities through music.
The night drew a large crowd and was marked by praise, worship, testimonies, and a call for unity in using music to spread the word.
Organizers said the festival aimed to bring believers together, promote Onsewa’s new project, and strengthen the gospel music industry in Malawi.
In an interview, Onsewa said she was content with the turnout and the support rendered by fans and fellow artists who filled the BICC to celebrate the release of her new album.
The Lilongwe event featured performances from leading gospel acts, including Miracle Chinga, Lloyd Phiri, The Great Angels Choir, Kondwani Chirwa, Skeffa Chimoto, Shammah Vocals, and Alex Nkalo.
Onsewa’s team says dates and venues for the
planned national tour will be announced in the coming weeks.
