He explained that the construction of the library will bring hope to students for self-learning opportunities and reading of books that can help to enrich them with humanity and build self-confidence.
“As an ambassador to Malawi, we thought it wise to help in boosting the education sector by providing necessary resources for infrastructure development in different schools including Karonga CCAP Girls Secondary School in Karonga and Ngwenga primary school in Lilongwe for excellent education.
“The infrastructures to be constructed fall under the Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Project and about 160 million kwacha had been given to Karonga CCAP girls secondary school and 82 million will be given to Ngwenga primary school,” explained the ambassador.Primary Education Assistant (PEA) for Ngwenya zone in Lilongwe who represented the ministry of education, emphasized the importance of the grant especially to Lilongwe education district for the construction and rehabilitation of the school fence, toilets and girls change rooms that will promote good hygiene around the school premises.

Karonga CCAP Girls Secondary School Head-teacher, Chimwemwe Mithi, appreciated the Japanese embassy for the grant to be used for construction of different facilities at the school as students will be able to use the infrastructures for easy studies.
