All is set for the Malawi Woman national football team ( The Scorchers) to advance in the quarter final stage as they are expecting to play their last match in the group stages against Zambia in the Women Africa cup of Nations.

According to Scorchers head coach Lovemore Fazili, all preparations are done and Players are ready to chase maximum 3 points to finish on the top of group C, saying he is optimistic that with the squad he has they will carry the day.
In an interview, Fazili described the match as decisive, saying it will determine the two teams that will advance to the quarterfinals.
He urged his players to maintain the top-notch performance displayed in previous games against Nigeria and Egypt.
Fazili admitted that it will be a tough match, noting that Zambia is also chasing victory to qualify from the group.
However, he said he has advised his side to be self-confident and dedicate themselves to victory.

Fazili added that beefing up the squad with Asimenye Simwaka, who was competing in the Commonwealth Games in Scotland, is a boost, stating she will replace Rose Alufandika, who was sent off during the 3-1 victory over Egypt in the second group game
